After that, he started training at the city of Derby swimming club.   From where he was trained by Melanie Marshall.  Then, he moved his professional swimming career.  And he won four gold medals at the 2014 European Championships. He became a World Champion for the first time at the 2015 World Championships by winning three gold medals.
